Advanced Trainings

The scheduled material investigations and analysis will be built on widely used press hardenable materials such as 22MnB5 and 34MnB5. This press hardening of steel course combines theoretical explanation of materials phenomena with experimental internship in laboratory and final analytical examination of generated press hardened parts.

The training´s focus is the explanation of the process monitoring requirements and the quality control methods of press hardened components.

This advanced training of Tailored Part Properties, builds on the "Heat Treatment & Hot Forming of Steel" training and the learned basics in the field of semi-finished products. Within this seminar participants will achieve comprehensive understanding in the variety part properties for the press hardening technology.

The Advanced Training Tooling,  builds on the foundation level training and the learned basics in the field of tooling. Within this seminar participants will achieve comprehensive knowledge in tool manufacturing for the press hardening technology.

The focus of this training is clearly concentrated on the particulars of the micro magnetic measurement system of Fraunhofer IZFP (3MA). 3MA is possibly the most exciting measuring principle to be applied for qualifying a process hardened steel component and this even on a non-destructive testing basis.
